Local Business Groups

Like most of New England, Belknap County is comprised of close-knit communities. The small-town nature and long entrepreneurial history of our region has created an environment with a number of active business groups. These groups all share the common goal of strengthening our local business environment, but they are diverse organizations with slightly different geographic areas of focus, institutional cultures, and resource levels. We encourage you to explore each of them to determine which ones best fit your needs and personal style.

Belknap EDC

We are not a membership organization in the traditional sense, although we do rely on donations from local business investors to fund our operations. Our role is to act as a catalyst for community and economic development. We identify projects needed to enhance quality of place and the quality of our local workforce and then we find funding to turn those ideas into reality. If you would like to become a Belknap EDC investor supporting our strategic initiatives or want to sign up for our e-newsletter to stay informed about local economic trends and our activities, please send us an e-mail.
