   Carmen Lorentz,Executive Director

A Belknap County native, Carmen graduated from Gilford High School in 1995, and went on to study International Affairs at The George Washington University. She spent several years in Washington, DC, lobbying Congress on foreign policy issues and working at an international foundation. Carmen focused on state and local government policy in her master’s degree program at the University of Maryland - School of Public Policy. From 2006 to 2011, Carmen served as Senior Economic Development Specialist at the consulting firm Camoin Associates of Saratoga Springs, New York, where she assisted more than 50 communities across the Northeast in economic development planning, business attraction, and downtown revitalization.

As Belknap EDC’s Executive Director, Carmen is responsible for development and implementation of the organization’s strategic plan, as well as day-to-day administration of Belknap EDC’s grants and $3 million revolving loan fund.

 

 

  

 

   Ken Wilson, Loan Officer

Ken worked in the banking industry for over 40 years, including 26 years in commercial lending. He retired from Bank of New Hampshire in 2011, and now serves as Belknap EDC’s loan officer on a part-time basis.
