Belknap EDC Celebrates Successes at 2023 Annual Meeting

Belknap EDC proudly hosted its Annual Meeting October 26 at the newly opened WORK Lakes Region Coworking and Event Studio at 51 Elm Street in the newest Paugus Properties Development in Lakeport. It was great to celebrate Belknap EDC's work while we look ahead toward continuing to support Belknap County's businesses and communities.

All attendees were treated to a cocktail hour with delicious apps and bar service by Bernini Pizzeria & Wine Bar, followed by the annual meeting program hosted by Belknap EDC Chairman of the Board, Andrew Pike of Opechee Construction and Belknap EDC Executive Director, Justin Slattery with opening remarks by WORK Lakes Region Founder/Owner & Belknap EDC Board Member, Jodie Gallant. It was great to see so many reconnecting with colleagues, making new connections, and simply enjoying a nice evening with the Belknap EDC team.

The atmosphere was light and celebratory as Pike and Slattery walked guests through some of Belknap EDC’s work, especially the success stories of those businesses who received financial and/or counseling support from Belknap EDC including Taste of Legacy Café and Catering, Catchpenny, Clarena’s Coffee, and Social Club Creamery. Slattery also noted the success of the ongoing SBA Community Navigator Program, which is helping Belknap EDC connect with more businesses, expanding its impact.

Thank you to our generous sponsors! The event was sponsored by gold sponsor: Meredith Village Savings Bank; while Bank of New Hampshire, Franklin Savings Bank, Cross Insurance, and Northway Bank were bronze sponsors.
